This alloy has high resistivity, low temperature coefficient of resistivity and good corrosion resistance, and is used to make resistors. Nickel-based electrothermal alloy is a nickel alloy containing 20% chromium, which has good anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion properties, and can be used for a long time at a temperature of 1000-1100 °C.
Memory Alloy
Nickel alloy with 50(at)% titanium. The recovery temperature is 70°C, and the shape memory effect is good. A small change in the nickel-titanium composition ratio can change the recovery temperature within the range of 30 to 100 °C. It is mostly used in the manufacture of self-expanding structural parts used in spacecraft, self-energizing fasteners used in the aerospace industry, artificial heart motors used in biomedicine, etc.
Application field
Nickel-based alloys are used in many fields, such as:
1. Ocean: marine structures in the marine environment, seawater desalination, seawater aquaculture, seawater heat exchange, etc.
2. Environmental protection field: flue gas desulfurization device for thermal power generation, wastewater treatment, etc.
3. Energy field: atomic power generation, comprehensive utilization of coal, ocean tide power generation, etc.
4. Petrochemical field: oil refining, chemical and chemical equipment, etc.
5. Food field: salt making, soy sauce brewing, etc. In many of the above fields, ordinary stainless steel 304 is incompetent. In these special fields, special stainless steel is indispensable and irreplaceable.
